About Us
We work with clients across the North East of England
What we do
Team Sunflower will guide you through the process of applying for Access to Work funding.
When your funding is secured, we match you to a dedicated work mentor and provide you with access to a team of talented, empathetic people who can help with various aspects of work or running your own business.

We also provide access to our network of coaches and counsellors for when you need some extra reassurance or resilience.
How we do it
We get to know you.
We help you explore your strengths and challenges, your motivations and concerns, and we communicate in the way that works best for you.
We're sensitive to your needs, we listen and we never judge - so you can always be yourself.

You'll stay in control, but Team Sunflower will be there to guide you and help you make the best decisions.

Who we are
Jane Winton - Director
I think the most important quality I have for helping our clients succeed is being able to put myself in their shoes.

I have a background in small business, teaching, marketing communications and the charity sector - a really valuable combination when it comes to finding the right mentoring support and giving tailored business advice to our self-employed clients.

I love helping people to harness their bright ideas and turn them into a successful business that gives them fulfilment!
Sue Hayman - Director
I'm an organiser and I like to think some of that rubs off on our clients!
My focus is Team Sunflower's employed clients - so I work with them and their employers to ensure they get the right support in their place of work.

My background is in recruitment, community mental health admin and the charity sector, so I've always got plenty of experience to draw upon in the day-to-day challenges of my work. I've also run my own admin business and handle all of Team Sunflower's office operations.
